BBQ Bacon Sushi Roll

BBQ Bacon Sushi Roll

Serves 8


  • 12 Slices Dry Cured Cumberland Shortback Bacon
  • 500g Minced Beef
  • Lion’s American Smoky BBQ Sauce
  • 50g BBQ Rub
  • 50g Creamy Lancashire Cheese
  • 25g Kettle Chips



  1. Line six slices of bacon in rows together onto a Sushi mat
  2. In a bowl combine the minced beef and rub together
  3. Evenly distribute the mixture onto the bacon thinly
  4. Place a line of cheese onto one end
  5. Pressing firmly roll the sushi mat up and un-roll again
  6. Place on the Crown Verity grill for approx. 20 minutes on a medium heat until cooked
  7. Brush the roll during the final minutes of cooking with warmed Lions American BBQ Sauce
  8. Roll in the crumbed kettle chips
  9. Slice into portions and serve with extra BBQ Sauce
