- 4 tins mixed beans
- 4 slices diced bacon
- 50g chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp general rub
- 300ml (10½ fl oz) gold plated barbecue sauce
- 50g (2oz) brown sugar
Use a barbecue skillet to fry the bacon until crispy, add the onion and cook until soft.
Transfer the bacon to a saucepan and add the onion, beans, rub, sauce and brown sugar. Simmer for 20 minutes and serve.
